Wondering how things are going on week 3 of the 6-week One Room Challenge?
Well, my hand may permanently be frozen in a paint-brush shaped grasp, but I’m just happy to be *almost* finished with painting. Plus I got some really pretty things delivered to my front door this week!! Between stunning hardware for my door, and stop-and-stare accent tables, I’m one happy girl.

Guys, this has been the most exciting week yet! Okay, so I’m only 3 weeks in, and I may end up saying that every week until the reveal…but really, I’m beginning to see real progress here.
I mean, did you see the before in WEEK ONE or my chosen light fixtures in WEEK TWO?
Once my sofa came this past week, I could finally decide on which paint would go best with the upholstery color. After a week of painting walls and trim, I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Show-Stopping Accent Tables
This LS Diamond Home Gold Leaf Key coffee table from Overstock is one heck of an accent piece! But you only get a sneak peek for now…
Most people think a sofa is the star of the room, but what do you see when you are sitting at your sofa? The accent table…so it better be a show stopper. In this space in particular I wanted the coffee table to be a graphic element in the space. This one is certainly that and more!
I’m pretty happy with this adorable little Silver Orchid Foldable Accent Table from Overstock/Overstock.com as well. It is a more lightweight piece to balance out the heavier coffee table. I didn’t realize until it arrived that it was a foldable tray. Now I wish I had gotten a few more accent tables / trays to hold drinks and hor d’oeuvres when hosting guests.
Hardware That Makes Your Heart Go Pitter Patter
This little corner may not seem like much to you, but after a fresh coat of paint and my gorgeous new door levers from Schlage, I’m over-the-moon.
This is that space before (plus a closeup of my powder room knobs):
And here it is after with Latitude lever with Collins trim door handles:
Oh my goodness, look at these Hobson Glass Knobs…aren’t they a beaut?

I went with a gold finish in this room, but maintained the Latitude lever I’ve been using throughout my home for continuity. If you missed my post about Tips for Choosing Your Home’s Hardware definitely check it out. You’ll see this lever in my dining room in a different finish.
Well, I guess I better get back to painting. There is just the tiniest bit of touch-up left!
Wish me luck this week guys. And see more of my behind-the-scenes here on Instagram.

I love the point you make about the fact that when you are sitting on the sofa, you are looking at the accent tables. You chose some very nice ones! And the glass doorknobs are beautiful!
Wow, the hardware is truly amazing. Love those door knobs! The accent and coffee tables look great too. Looking forward to the reveal! 🙂
Hi Carmona, Okay what color/brand/spray is that color you used on your door handles? Love it! Gold is a tricky color with spray paint and this one is the look I want in my Hale Navy bathroom. laura in Colorado
