I wish I had an actual office to work in, however my sitting room (because let’s be realistic, there will be no courting in this room) will work best as a multipurpose space / office space.
As I take on my office, I’ve spent a little more time than I should swooning over gorgeous office’s on Pinterest and equally amazing office projects!

This small but effective space by Amelia Eichholz, owner of Colour Bloc goes to show that an office doesn’t need to be big to accomplish the task. I love the use of vertical space for storage.

I love this office by Carmel of Our Fifth House. I think it is the built-in’s. Built-in bookcases make me weak in the knees, and an entire wall of them has me head-over-heels. Plus that mid century modern desk is amazing!
It’s the little details that come together to make a space amazing, and I love this little project from Amy at Homey Oh My. She’s got that chic modern look that I dearly admire!
Seating is vital, how many hours a day will be spent sitting in your home office? I love the idea of an upholstered chair…soft enough to be comfortable, firm enough to promote good posture. Plus tufting is my design weakness! Â This lovely room was designed by Thomas O’Brien (his book American Modern is a must read!).
This gorgeous space reminds me that even when you have no office, you can create a workspace anywhere! Interior design guru David Jimenez put this stunning space together.

I learned from my sister’s apartment and styling that you don’t have to have much to make a great work space. Dip into some eclectic style, and find what works for you!
