“Chore charts”, “sanity”, the words might as well be synonymous. If you have kids you know how incredibly fantastic it would be to have them dash up to you and proudly announce they are done for the day with everything on their chart. Ahhh yes, that’s what happiness feels like. Of course my kids are still your average kids, so not everyday looks like that…but 3 out 6 days where they do everything without me having to tell them is pretty great! Hey, when you are a work-from-home entrepreneur plus homeschooling mom you have to automate every part of life possible. 😀
If you haven’t seen my chore system, you can read all about how to use it here. It isn’t your ordinary chore chart, it includes “work for hire” options (for after the chores are complete), a “chore of the week” section where kids are able to choose from available chores, and even a schedule and goal list. All these elements together teach your kids responsibility, independence, gives you a base to show them how to set goals, and even allows room for decision making and choices! Of course, this is just a tool to help you teach these things…it is up to you to mold it to your children, and make the most of it!
I first created this chore system 3 years ago when my kids were 4, 6 & 7 and it worked wonders for us! Kids grow and change, and this year the girls ask me to design a new “grown up” version. So I’ve created a mint edition, which blends into my decor quite well I might add, so we’re all very happy!
If you would like to have this mint edition free, I’ve included it in an exclusive free printables page for email subscribers. Sign up here to gain access to the mint edition, as well as other printable freebies! I hope it brings as much sanity to your home as it has to mine! 😉

This is such a great idea! My issue with chore charts in my failure to consistently enforce the use of them!
Kathy
Chore charts are a success in our house too. If only I would keep up with them. 😉 Love the “grown up” look.
