I have a set of store bought cube organizers that I absolutely love. I keep moving them from room to room because I can’t decide where I want it most! I would have bought a second set, but I started thinking it would be nice to have a smaller custom size to fit some of my smaller nooks and crannies.
My favorite thing about this simple cube organizer is how easy it is to make…and it only requires four boards and a box of Kreg screws!
Granted, I’m likely to move my custom built cube organizer all around the house too…I could place it vertically against a narrow wall as shelf storage, or lay it horizontally on the floor as a shoe cubby, or add legs to make it sideboad and add my DIY Storage Boxes as drawers. The opportunities are endless!
I think my favorite thing about this simple cube organizer is how easy it is to make (well for a furniture build anyway), and it only requires four 1″x10″x8′ boards and a box of Kreg screws. An afternoon is all it takes to make this pretty little guy!
I’m sharing the full tutorial over at BuildSomething.com!
And of course, you can get the full tutorial to make boxes (aka drawers) that go hand-in-hand with this cube organizer to become a cute apothecary styled drawer set. >>Tutorial Here<<
