Add color, charm & personality with canvas art!
[left]Hi everyone, this is Anima from This Design Journal again with an interesting proposition for you. Do you drop by the blog often? If yes, we moved to a newly built builder spec home recently. Like most of you I am blessed with a number of hallways in this home which are not so wide, not so large but are still there.
One of my decorating dilemmas was how to add a little charm to my otherwise bland, small hallway that is right in front of the front door. I didn’t want a gallery wall because the wall space is so small that a number of wall arts and frames would look cluttered

But the confusions stemmed from the fact that I wanted some moments displayed there that would right away convey who live here and how.
Timing could not have been more perfect for Canvas Factory to approach us – it was like they knew my confusions and decided to solve it for me. And that is how this small hallway took shape. It is a number of moments weaved together, that is colorful yet so subtle not to get the small space overwhelming. Here, see for yourself.
I chose to use a color wrapped style with black & white photos, both can be chosen as options within the website while ordering your print. I chose BW photos to make the whole thing look cohesive, but you can pick and choose a variety of styles that are offered there. I have explained the process just below.
Creating a collage with the Canvas Factory’s website is as easy and simple as uploading your favorite photos and playing around with the design as you want with some well guided step by step instructions. And this collage I created took less than 30 minutes from start to finish, that includes trying out all options to see for myself what fits best for me.
The process is self explanatory at each step but I did create a sample guideline of what it is like to creating the design.
That’s it. It comes ready to be hung and canvases are light weight. All you would need would be a couple of Command Strips to get them up on the wall. Here I have chosen our personal photographs to create a collage, you can also upload kid’s artwork, digital printables and photos to personalize your walls. Canvas Factory also offers prints on acrylic and aluminum if canvases are not your thing.
How would you like the chance to win your very own 16″x20″ custom print?
All you have to do is use one of my easy entry types below! (By the way, your email is used solely to contact you in the event that you win. I believe in your privacy!)
Ready? Good luck!
